There are three types of skills:Ī party skill grants an ability to the party as a whole. The type of a skill determines how it affects the party. Huge sandbox with plenty of choice - rule the lands of Calradia. Weapon proficiencies will also be improved over time by inflicting damage to other opponents with the specific weapon types. New levels allow the player to improve attributes, skills, and weapon proficiencies to further develop the character. The game makes use of a leveling system where the player gains experience through completing quests, defeating opponents, or training. By becoming a vassal, the player is first given control over a a poor village which can be managed. Renown is an important attribute and allows the player to achieve a higher standing in the game and eventually be offered vassalage by the leaders of one of the six factions. If the player wins the battle, they gain this renown. Each battle is given a renown value, depending on the party size and power of the members of each party. Upon encountering enemy parties, the player can try to avoid a conflict, or engage in a battle with them. The game has an overland map which is used for traveling which is done by simply clicking the desired destination on the map.
